"If you want to move files from the computer to the SD card on the PDA, you need to setup an FTP server on the PDA."

Well, actually, that isn't 100% the case. I put the files I want to move in the exposed directory on the PC running the server, log into it from the handheld, and transfer them downstream. And the reverse is true if I want to go from handheld to PC.

My question was answered by Axzilla. I just need to "set path" and use the UNC (uniform naming convention) of the full path to the host. In my case \\happy\c$.

(My computers are grumpy, happy, sleepy, dopey and doc, in the workgroup, what else, dwarf. They used to be Larry, Curly and Moe until I got more computers. After Shemp I would have had to use Curly Joe..... :-) )

And now on to the other post, "What good is Bluetooth really?" I put 'bluetooth accessories' into Google and got 6000 pages of headsets and cell phones. I was hoping to find something a little more useful. One suggestion for using bluetooth was for moving photos from a cell phone to the Axim, but for my specific situaton, my cameras use SD and so does the Axim, so that's moot.

Does anything go in the compact flash slot other than memory? Anybody make a camera maybe that slips in there? A radio tuner? How about a USB port card?

Thanks to everybody for the responses. This is a well of knowledge that I have just started drinking from.
