Uninstall your current version by going to Add/Remove Programs on your desktop, then download the version of ActiveSync you want from the Microsoft site (4.2 is the latest). Click on the file, follow the prompts, and it will install on your desktop. You cannot reinstall ActiveSync on your Axim.
