First, I did EXACTLY what the procedure said to do. I used an SD card that I re-formatted to FAT32 format (or like it says in the procedure, it won't work). There is nothing said about any other kind of card, so I cannot help you there. My recommendation would be to buy an SD card if you don't have one. It's cheaper than a new handdheld and you can always use it later in the new handheld you buy if you can't recover this one.

Second, if your device crapped out with WM5.0 on it and you want to put back WM2003, then down load the 2003 files but change the name of the start of the file to WM50 as he describes in the procedure. Just read the procedure about 5 times slowly and then do EXACTLY what it says. That's what I did and it worked.
