Even though it's on the compatibility list for WM5 having trouble installing version

v1.0, never mind the v1.5 upgrade. The message I get on screen is that the recommends me

to install it to the main memory not the "" path. what the hell is the "" path ?

As I use my PDA as a smart phone with the Audiovox RTM 8000 cf Data / voice modem this

kind is obviously in situ as well as a SD memory card. after the above message appears

and and it appears to install to the end of the progress bar I get an error message "The

previous version of Voice command has been detected , please delete its previous version"

As I have never installed a previous version I went on to the Microsoft website and

discovered that if you in fact do upgrade from version one version 1.5 you will indeed

get this error message. What followed its instructions on the Microsoft website to

enter the tools, add and remove programs, on the active sync 4.2 desktop screen and

followed as directed. But in no avail even the trial version from handygo.com but I had

a previous version on my PDA .

So finally I went to SPB registry editor to search for Voice command in the registry via

the find, edit option but no entries were found.right even removed a trial version of the

speak text pro thinking that could be upsetting the install. My last thought was to

remove the SD memory card and the Audiovox RTM 8000 cf Data / voice modem to stop the

first message about installation location but I've not seen that message since by I

removed said cards.

so I'm in a pickle , do I switch to an alternative voice commands software book and you

guys and girls help me ?
