how to find counties to include in your find route
I emailed mapopolis support on this and btw they are quite responsive.
They have a tool to kinda show you what counties are adjacent to each other. This tool is found under download maps on their site. You will have to manually "predict" the counties your route will cover. Load them up, and get mapopolis to find a route for you.
I did found an error on this tool however..the road I was looking for was in a wrong county. I attribute this error to NavTech. The same eccentric mapping tool found on Yahoo Maps. It makes you go into local road all too often when theres a highway alternative to take, even when you tell it to route using highways.
In my opinion, this is a big problem with using Mapopolis. How do I look at their web site when I'm in my car plotting a new route? Their tech support says they are working on a tool to deliver this function. I think is beautifully done in Destinator 2. But Destinator 2 isnt as accurate as Mapopolis.
To me, PPC GPS is unreliable.
