Hi, I was just reading this thread, looking for instructions.

Do you need Linux running on the desktop to get it to work? I've got Cygwin installed and the pakconvert.sh shell-script doesn't execute properly, throwing dozens of errors.

Code:
David@bluebox ~/Desktop/q3ce-1.1b-release-aximx50v-ppc2003/q3ce-1.1b-release-aximx50v-ppc2003/pakconvert
$ bash ./pakconvert.sh "/cygdrive/c/Program Files/id/Quake III Arena"
./pakconvert.sh: line 9: [: too many arguments
./pakconvert.sh: line 15: [: too many arguments
d:\Users\David\Desktop\q3ce-1.1b-release-aximx50v-ppc2003\q3ce-1.1b-release-aximx50v-ppc2003\pakconvert\mkdir.exe (1592): *** proc magic mismatch detected - 0x704D1F7E/0xD94C588A.
This problem is probably due to using incompatible versions of the cygwin DLL.
Search for cygwin1.dll using the Windows Start->Find/Search facility
and delete all but the most recent version. The most recent version *should*
reside in x:\cygwin\bin, where 'x' is the drive on which you have
installed the cygwin distribution. Rebooting is also suggested if you
are unable to find another cygwin DLL.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: Ah, I didn't see the Bash executable in the pakconvert directory, nevermind

...but now I keep getting "Insufficient memory" errors and I can't start it (even after ending all other programs)
