From iPod, to x50v: Can I be satisfied?

I was once an iPod owner, and then got an x50v for its all-around coolness. I can use it in school, watch movies, whatever. I used tcpmp to play music, but found the experience lacking.

I was hoping to have a program something like iTunes, and I would be willing to pay for it. A player with mp3 playback, as well as a few other formats (are any apple formats on a player out there), preferably ogg. I, while being a techinical person, would rather not have to screw around with trying to get the music on the Axim, with tcpmp, I had to get the CD's on the computer and then try to put them on the Axim in order (which was no easy task, since tcpmp loved to randomize them).

To sum it up, I want a program that will be hassle-free, while supporting a large number of formats, to handle my music. I am willing to pay a bit for it.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I actually have an x51v, if that helps.
Also, battery life is a concern.
