I recently got my axim, greatest thing ever. Anyway, I have no trouble syncing with cradle, but when I try wireless sync, I get guest on the PC and "connecting" on the axim. I have Pocket Host running with the correct PC set and can browse the network folders on the PC with File Explorer. I renamed to PocketPC and then did a soft reset. Still, I get "guest" on PC when trying to wireless sync. I have the PPC2003, and the settings are a little bit different than what all the tech files show. But I have all the network protocols set to "work" connection. The PC is set with remote sync. I set Norton virus to allow the wescomm.exe. What else...the network is through a Netgear router with three wire connects and one wireless connection (Axim) running. Everything else is fine, but still getting a guest sync when trying wireless. I used vxUtil to ping host PC and get good reply and have a good IP address from router, which shows on the devices connected that PocketPC and Windsor(host PC) are running. Any suggestions? I would love to have this thing sync wirelessly.
