Wow, I can't believe I forgot to post this...
Pocket Hack Master also allows you to change the cache settings. The PXA250 had a cache bug so it was set so it would not corrupt things. The bug was fixed in the PXA255. Pocket Hack Master allows you to set the cache to wtie back, write through, write through with read allocate, etc...

There is not a lot of activity over there but if you poke around, you can reap some info on the cache settings. I usually set at write through or write through with read allocate.
