Well, I had a really long discussion about that with a PowerVR "fan" (in fact, in a thread where CoD2 was announced on a German PPC site)
Problem is that Intel and Nvidia said they will cooperate but not >how<. Even wikipedia seems to struggle there although you can read that there will be a GoForce in the annouced Monahans. Prob is that, even if such a device comes out, it might be crap. Why? Well, Nvidia has "no clue what they are doing", this is their first test with such small mobile GraCas while e.g. ATI (or should I call them AMD now?) is more skilled in it already and PowerVR has it's strong MBX and the "new" announced SGX will lead into a new 2900er Co-CPU series around 2007/2008 which is licenced already by Intel, so Nvidia's PocketPC future is very unstable at this point.
There also seem to be tests where the GoForce really sucks cause it looses a lot more energy then the 2700er etc. Intel/PowerVR concept.
Ah, and we even don't know what GoForce we are talkin about, cause there is nothing said about the 5500er anywhere, just a co-op.
Last but not least, keep in mind that we haven't heared a lot about the future of Intel's PPC since they sold their XScale series, which can be interpreted both, very bad and good (although I'm not the one that is very optimistic).
I guess this is also a reason why CoD2 is NOT anymore planned to be an exclusive Monahans CPU title (as it was in the first announcement), because the CPU's future isn't secured (at least not concidering that there are no news about it and major PPC-companies are in a negative mood about the PPC-segemnt, take e.g. Dell)
