Bulldog was right, WITHMP3 is pretty good. Making minor adjustments between preamp and volumn to get sound crystal clear I was able to block out all outside noise in TImes Square, NYC, Subways and a bus! Bass was deep and full Evanesence was great, so was Van Halens song "Dreams" with has several distinctives rhythems in the background and they were all there. PM clarity wasn't that great. I also played so classic DMX- "Get at me dogs" and it was incredible you hear one of the back ground tracks of this person humming a tune with PM you just hear the last note, WithMP3 you hear the whole sequence.
I have only 1 issue- that is whenever I minimized to open or jump to another application there was a pause/skip in music, could this be fixed somehow with cache/buffer settings of WITHMP3?
and 1 question- Pocket Music now has an extra bass feature, doesn't that help the sound quality?
I have free trial versions of both apps, so before I buy I would like all the information out there.
