A few comments to add to the list...
I overclock because I enjoy it. I have been overclocking since my first PC. Actually, I may have started earlier than my journey into the PC world... alas it has been so long ago I don't remember.
PPC 2002 doesn't seem to have a place to set the PXA255 to run 199 MHZ PXBus. It isn't really an Axim thing. Originally, the PXA250 was the processor, it ran a maximum PXBus of 99 MHZ so that is what PPC2002 was working with. Additionally, I now see that a 199 MHZ PXBus doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to me because it seems to eliminate usage of the built in PXA255 autoscaling. This seems to be by design per Intel (Table 3-1, Intel Developer's Manual, pg 67). However, such autoscaling can be done by 3rd party software.
starforce_chips, not to single you out, but I think there is insufficient evidence and it is premature in the WM2003 game to really make the claim of "cheap parts, etc." warranted. True, in time that may be proven as the case, but for now it is somewhat premature to make such assertions. I understand it is your opinion and I do respect that. Indeed, I sometimes suspect the very same things you posted, however, I myself would not post them as fact... In any event, in my opinion the Axims have been great PPCs for running PPC2002 at a cheap price. I feel I have more than gotten my money's worth all these months.
If nothing else, owning an Axim has allowed me the opportunity to interact with a top notch group of people here on Aximsite. (That includes every user here, down to the last). :D
Enjoy!
