I believe Wisbar Lite may have access to this feature, although it removes the skinning engine - it keeps the start menu and task management features in place. And I honestly don't see how your x51v would get slowed down by it, when lower-end machines and other x50v's (and many people's x51v's) work great with it.

Maybe it's the skin you were using? But Lite's another option, and one that SHOULD keep that feature in there, IIRC.
