I use the AximWirelessPower app. Granted it controls both, but I believe they created it to be able to disable certain controls. The program is very customizable.
True it doesn't REPLACE the default dell app.... it installs to the start menu, where there you can assign it to a button. Just change the button mapping FROM the default dell wifi app TO the new AximWirelessPower app.
You have to keep the installed shortcut in the start menu. If you assign it a button, then delete the shortcut, the button will cease to function. You can either move it to a folder within the start menu so it is out of the way, or make it hidden so you don't see it.
Configuring it is your job, but it is prolly the best way to achieve what your going after. I use it and its awesome. I like it because of the way its setup. I have it like this:
When you press the button a window pops up with two icons. BT and WiFi. Thats it.
I tap which one I want toggled (on or off) and ok it.
Its very nice for driving in the car when using GPS cause you can activate it by touch instead of digging out your stylus to get the small icons on the tray.
