What causes it?

I installed the latest trial of egress last night, soft-reseted, and my Axim produced the WSOD, and I had to hard reset. Yet others on Aximsite seem to be running it without trouble.

So, why did it happen? I'm running WM2003SE. Surely a mere conflict between today plugins (I was running pocket breeze, ilauncher and aphorisme) can't make the OS throw a wobbly like that?
