I have tried both xpdf and adobe, with the vga .mui. I often read long graphic intensive docs (+/- 70 pgs) at meetings that are being referenced in meeting situations. Reading each page each time you access that page is a real problem with xpdf.
Adobe is much faster and renders the page quite well (including drawings). but...
The axim goes to sleep, as I want it to becuase I need to conserve power while away from the mother ship. At that point, the whole ax freezes because adobe is on the sd card and it can't find itself (kind of like teenagers). soft reset the only solution. It sounds like putting it on the device may eliminate the soft reset, but the program still won't wake up. any solutions besides
- carrying a battery pack
- installing it on the device, and
- continually tapping it so it stays awake??
