McAfee is famous for this stunt and thats why I won't use it. Last year they released an update for the Enterprise version we use at work and it knocked down ALL of our servers (Novell) and once the (1000 users) users could get it, it would not let their connections be cleared on the net servers. I can't tell you how much time and money that cost us. Not too mentional all the calls and complaints to IT from users that couldnt' get logged into the system. Their quality control seems to leave a LOT to be desired. Switched to Symantec and have no problems with this kind of nonsense.
