desktop wont' connect to net via wifi but gets wifi connection

ok i'm stumped on this. . for some reason now.. my desk top which is using a dlink wifi pci card won't get net access through my router (linksys 4 port wifi router).. It connects to the router via wifi but i cannot get it on the net no matter what I try. if i set the desktop to dhcp and try to get an ip address it said it's not allowed. if i set it to static ip addresses (i.e. assign it 192.168.1.103 for example, gateway is the router at 192.168.1.1 and dns servers are IP addresses from my isp that are listed in linksys status screen) it still won't connect. it won't ping the router at all. I don't get it becuase it's on the wifi network. as for wifi security, i'm not broadcasting ssid, using 64bit wep and mac filtering. anyone got any ideas? it was online before. .the only thing i did was reset the router recently cuz my net connection seemed slow.
