This is all very well, but we appear to now be entering the stage where 2003 becomes more essential than desirable.

FOr instance, I tried to upgrade my copy of Pocket Informant last week to the new 2007 version. When it wouldn't work I investigated further and found that the new version required WM2003 at least. Some of the new functionality required too much programming to make it work on WM2002 (Their words, not mine).

It seems to me that this is liklely to be the beginning of a trend whereby those of us still running WM2002 on our X5s are going to be left behind to run only old software unless some way is found to lrgally upgrade the OS.
