Watch out for that! Your ISP provider might be ordered to give up your name if the RIAA finds out you downloaded too many songs... Darn politics...

yeah I read about that stuff, I have downloaded very little from there actually, but anytime I get a song in my head I go get it, actually I could probably just buy a copy of every cd and movie I download and get off easier then having to pay $14,000 or whatever rediculoius amount those guys in the UK or wherever had to pay. Besides those people were like power users that made up like 90% of all the mp3s and stuff avaliable online, they had computers dedicated to archiving that stuff for ppl to download, I'd say I probably have about 1/100000 of what they have on my computer.
My philosophy is POWER TO THE PEOPLE, they need to come up with some new ways to sell music, hell I'd pay 5 bucks a month to have access to a mp3 server, even it there wa like a limit per month, I think most people would, these corporate good ol boys need to start thinking out of the box, and move into the 21st century, instead of trying to stop the tidal wave, why not try to ride it, right?
Not a flame, not a argument about the ethical treatment of recording companies, just my 2 cents on that issue.
