wmp is the pits imho. gsplayer locked up my axim when i shut down with it running. mortplayer was less than intuitive for me to load individual folders from cf card (i do not need to create playlists). tcpmp does it all for me (audio and video) for all formats and appearance does not really matter since i usually have the screen off and the axim in my pocket. x50mix does a good job of adjusting sound to my liking when listening through headphones (wired, not bt). i like function over eye candy.
