Does this help? Does AS initially install to all users on Windows, or not? If so, I wonder if it's smart enough to know there are different AS settings for different Windows profiles.

Ah, user profiles, now I get it. They are treated separately by windows, as if they were (well, they
are) completely separate login accounts. If you look under C:\Documents and Settings you should see a folder for each of those two accounts (if you are using the same username, I believe Windows adds the domain name to the folder name so they can be distinguished from each other).
ActiveSync appears to store its settings on a per-user basis (mine are in C:\Documents and Settings\Mike\Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync), so this might just work
