Well, I also used to go to clubs without even knowing what a mobile phone is (much less need it ;) ) but indeed these days its almost second nature......

As for the laptops, I have also toyed around with the idea of getting a new one (especially when I see "bargains", i.e 2200XP+ with 512MB and CDRW-DVD combos for 999E), but my Axim can do almost everything I want while on the road, provided I have a keyboard attached (and also have enough memory thourgh memory cards). So, whats the point of buying a laptop ?

Finally, the new generation of smartphones will be simply awesome (6600, P900 etc), and will have all these problems resolved. The issue of usability/portability remains though ;)
