You might want to try disabling any firewalls (including the Windows firewall) that you have enabled on your PC. AS4x uses a psuedo-network connection via USB and firewall may block this traffic. If that works, you need to puch a hole in your firewall to allow that traffic. The other option is to disable this type of connection by going into settings/Connections/USB to PC and uncheck the "Enable advanced network functionality" box on your PDA. This will allow Activesync to communicate directly through USB, bypassing the creation of a "network adapter" in device manager. I hate AS4x :realmad: But i digress...

nah, doesnt help, i think the problem is the way windows handles it, as whenever i plug it in it doesnt make the usual noise it goes "duh duh duh" almost like it needs drivers or similar
