the NAS is a simple (and cheap) external 250GB HDD with Ethernet-Port, which I bought over eBay. It is plugged into one free Ethernet-Port of my WLAN-(DSL)-Router.
After I established a WLAN connection to my router, I can connect the NAS via File Explorer (open path: \\storage\public\mp3s\...). Then I can browse all files on the NAS with my AXIM. But If click on one of my MP3s, media player opens with an error message.
With Resco Explorer I can select the MP3 and then use "open with ... TCPMP" command. Only with this combination it is possible to play the MP3 via WLAN. But I cannot browse with the player application through my music files.

thanks for that... for about the same money as one of those I could go for something like the NSLU2... which i can also run software on...
I prefer TCPMP anyway so that won't be an issue for me.. it might be worth trying something like MortPlayer to see if that will do it.
