Well, the above case is an exception -obviously- since a lot of guys have o/c their Axims (including me ;)). I am a serious supporter for overclocking, because I ALWAYS try to improve the machines/devices/gadgets that I own (from cars to watches :D)

Overclocking should obviously be exercised with caution, but its not THAT dangerous. Provided everyone takes some precaution steps, o/c could be fun and with great results.

Oh, and o/c a CPU by 50%, does not mean that its lifespan will be decreased by 50%. Who said that ? Do you have any proof or theories to back this up ? If you are saying that the MTBF will be reduced, or that the error frequency will be increased, then yes you have a point.....
