Thanks all for the replies. SolSie - read your write up.Excellent as it was,I tried it and it didnt work for me. My video is not a full length feature film eg like black hawk down. Its a lecture video of a medical course and it has several .VOB files in it which I'm assuming relates to the different sections eg. 1 - Introduction 2.-Abdomen 3.- Neck etc Using your method outlined in your write-up; it picked just one 8min segment when the whole video is at least about an hour long.
The .IFO files are also seperate, will they or are they automatically added. At my wits end here :rolling:
Tried the pocketDivxEncoder and it just wasn't that helpful. There were about 5 different vob files in the folder representing different sections plus the seperate audio files and it was a nightmare. It took over 2hrs to copy just 23mins of video. That came without the sound!! Is that normal? Any other solution as keeping the computer on all night for just one dvd is not appealing in the least!
Any suggestions and thanx
