Finally, after a hard reset, I managed to sync :-)
The good news is I was able to restore my backup data.
Lesson learnt here:
Forget pulling your hair out over sychronization. Just do a full databackup and do a hard reset. It's easier on the hair!
There's only one snitch: be prepared to reload all your applications which can take a while if you've plenty of those. Finally, don't load in all sorts of applications if you don't need them. Just do those you really need.
Incidentally, does anyone know how to synch using bluetooth?
Just point me to the right thread and I'll take it from there. Thanks!
