I can't help the problem but your post did remind me of a wonderfully funny Monty Python skit with a dead parrot! You have an ex-Axim.

Just one thing. Did you try to re-flash it? If there's nothing in the ROM, it might work. Nothing to lose, anyway. Get the A03 or A02 flash so that what you are putting on is a Dell product.
