Then I soft reset, then I redo my relationships, then I soft reset again, then I revert to a saved system from several days ago, and then it works again for 2 or 3 days and then I go through the same cycle all over again. I first thought it was my Pocket Weather connection. Got an upgrade. Turned it on and off. Worked for a few days. Then wouldn't connect again. Then I thought there was a problem with my Spb backup. I quit backing up automatically. Worked for a couple of days, then wouldn't connect again. How could any of this be the firewall? On two differenct computers...it works, then doesn't - works, then doesn't. When do you give up and accept that the primary purpose of this thing - calendar and contacts, doesn't work and spending a half hour almost every day trying to make it connect just isn't worth it anymore?
I agree, it is not necessarily the firewall.

I was advised in another thread to uninstall (not just disable) my firewall and anti-virus, install ActiveSync and then reinstall the firewall etc. This worked for just a few days, then back to no connection, or a timed out connection, again on two different computers
