I've noticed that if I go to start/settings/memory/running programs and stop/end task on the ActiveSync, that will also stop the Axim syncing every 5 minutes. Do you see any down side to this?

From the sound of other posts I've read, the FST is useful primarily to stop the Axim from attempting to sync in the background off cradle, thus temporarily interfering with other memory intensive tasks. It seems to do nothing to stop the syncing between the Axim and the PC.

Would you recommend upgrading to the ActiveSync 4.2 just out?
