I have only limited knowledge, please correct me if I am wrong:
#1: Not tried but most likely yes.
#2: Unlikely, since there are registry entries and many other data stored in the main memory rather than the SD card. Even if it runs, settings may be lost. Also note that x51 is not VGA while x51v is, so program compatibility could be a concern; and of course you would want to see whether you need another licence for apps that are not free.
