What ROM version do you have? (It can be found start > settings > system > system information.
The bluetooth prior to a12 was severely crippled by MS. Because of that, several folks went about extracting and tweaking the widcomm stack to work with wm5 on the x51v. It can be found here

Many like it better than the a12 MS version, but I don't know it behaves with the gps.
