You still may not be able to remove the files, without a little extra work.

Are you using 2003se or WM5? If you are using 2003se, you might want to down
load and install safemode. This program does not work with WM5. soft reset into safemode and then you will be able to remove those two files.

Another possibility is the use a program such as MemMaid or SKTools to clean up stray files and registry entries. I would suggest memmaid first, as it is less aggressive and therefore you are less likely to remove something important. Both programs offer a trial version, but they are well worth their cost should you choose to buy one.
