Not true I'm afraid. TCPMP supports both.wmv amd .wma files.
Pauses in the playback areprobably caised by a file encoded at too high a frame rate which will overload the processor. I always use 15 fps, but 20 fps should be OK.
Tell us where you got your .wmv files from and the frame rate (if you know it)
