Atm we are not linking to hardware but by 1.5 your core account will be locked to specific devices... we will allow you to transfer that to another device no problem as we have a migration path.
It was easiest to let the user get a taste now of CorePlayer and where we are going.... and by 1.2-1.3 we will have the Media Library fully integrated too.
