A newbie here. I'm using Dup-DVD to transfer dvds into mpgs then using Windows Media Encoder 7 (with 8 codecs) and choosing the default Faster PDA profile. Video comes out only very very slightly choppy. Audio is very good. Only problem is every once in awhile, a video has choppy audio. (And, I'm getting from 95mb to 180mb of finished WMV.) Hope this helps someone.

Have the 400mhz Axim, PPC2002, PIII 600mhz with 8mb ATI video. Sloooooow process, but fairly faithful.
