I am having the same problem except I never done a restore. I can still open the files from the application (word for a .doc file) but I can't open them from the file manager or links in Pocket Informant.

I'm pretty sure you are having a simple "the " mark is missing" problem caused by, for example, older Resco File Explorer versions (
