I queried with Dell the location of the patch for fixing my UK Axim which has an A04 ROm and received the following email from them:

Like everyone else I have tried this and the update will only start if I change the time zone from Uk to US and when it completes I get the 1/13 error and have tried all the other tips out to get it to work like leaving the batteries out for 10 mins and then trying.
Dell now say that it will be 10 days or so before the fix is ready, but I could get a refurbished Axim in 2 days - but they will not say if it has the fix on it. I have told them I do not want a refurbed unit and want a new one and they say I would have to wait 7 days and they cannot say if it would have the fix on it or not.
I WISH DELL WOULD LEARN ABOUT CUSTOMER RELATIONS!!!!
After all we bought the kit direct and Dell do not sell through shops so they know only too well who bought the Axims and their contact details.
To top it.......Dell say if not ahppy they will give a full refund! HAH What about the other non-dell accessories I have bought I cannot take them back.
I have a Corporate Account for work with Dell and have tried going down that avenue to force their hand but that failed...they are just closing ranks and giving different stories each time you speak to them. Very very very poor show DELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will wait 2 weeks and no longer then will take action for compensation for the Axim, Bluetooth CF Card and cost of other non-dell accessories.
