Maybe the file repllog.exe (C:\windows\) doesn't work. Try to activate it while your Dell is in the cradle. If it's connecting correctly the following problem is happening:
The link between the connector RS232 (your USB cable) and the file repllog.exe is gone! With
this program you can create a new link with the menu connections! Make a notification: when the RS232 appears then start repllog.exe!
