I have never got to grips with the comms options and how to set them up. Somehow, I manage to get comms working in different environments but have to admit it is trial and error. I would love to understand it in more detail. Is there an idiot's guide anywhere? Specificaly, I would like to know how the browser, for example, is directed to the appropriate network. I use it at work and it connects through the LAN and I use it at home with wireless. But how does it "know" which to use? And when I want to set up a new wireless network, the New Network" box only gives me the option of a modem, IR or bluetooth. What about WiFi. I am sure ther are simple answers but I only have a simple mind!
Any guidance appreciated.
