Has anyone had problems with the backup battery?

I have been using the axim for a good 4 months now, never ran out of main battery as I charge it all the time on the cradle. However, I took a biz trip recently and forgot the charger, so the main battery ran out after a few days. The horror begun when I return from the biz trip and plug in the axim to the cradle, the axim ask me to perform setup - ALL THE DATA WAS GONE!

I found that the backup battery - which is meant to keep all the data alive - is now 0%!!!! It was 100% a few days before!

The backup battery was factory default Duracell DL2032. I measured the voltage and it was about 2.8V but the current is down.

I have just bought an Energiser CR2032 to replace it. I hope it doesn't happen again.

One lesson i've learned is - BACKUP YOUR DATA REGULARLY!

Any comments anyone?
