My Palm TX was stolen a few months ago, so I decided to buy an X51V. I have been disappointed with the speed of the X51V - something I'm really surprised to be saying based on all the great feedback I have heard from other Axim owners and PPC owners in general. Not to mention that the Axim has a faster processor than the TX.
I set the processor speed at 624. I noticed that speed improves after a soft reset, but then degrades despite closing programs that stay running in the background.
I am using using Pocket Breeze. I had Pocket Weather set up as a plug-in on the Today view, but I'll have to take that off because things have really slowed down since installing PW.
Does anyone have any advice for me to get my Axim moving so I don't have to wait so long for apps to open? Or maybe direct me to a link with some information?
Because this just doesn't seem right...
What is a good app to use to REALLY close programs when I close them?
