I haven't been to any pda forums for 6 months, since I got my eten m600+ I've had zero problems, I even forget the last time I soft reset... probably once a month.
Dell sucks, thats my opinion
Just thought I'd post as it's been a while... If your device doesn't work, then it's probably a dodgy company/product, so sell it, trash it, and buy something else from a more reputable company.
