i understand, and thank you for your concern... but has not every axim x5 basic applied the patch successfully according to the thread containg the "poll of successfullness"? i understand the risk, but can you smell my anticipation? i think i have to mail it next day air tomorrow (monday) if i dont get the patch because thats when my 30 days are up. so its a win/win situation. if it works i keep it, if it doesnt i send them back something crappier than i received, no charge with a small "heh" that i think to myself. then ill just order another new one with the patch already on it....
