I am using WMP9 on a WM2k3 device. I have copied the "Windows Media 11 - WMP9" folder to the device @ \Program Files\Windows Media Player but it doesn't show up in the Skin Chooser.

Maybe WMP10 is required.
Which in that case, I think you are out of luck with an X5. The X30 required the A06 firmware update to get WMP10. Hopefully, for your sake, I'm wrong.
