Hi,
my configuration is Axim X51V - Holux GPSlim Bluetooth - TomTom6 and find no problem in using it till now.
- Power on the Holux
- on axim go to Settings-Blueetooth
- in the first tab (my Axim is not in english so dont know the exact labels) enable the Bluetooth (wait some seconds for stabilization of the interface)
- go to the second tab (should be "devices") and click on "new pairing"
- as soon as the Holux is found (something like "HOLUX GPSlim236") click on it and specify the passkey (if I remember correctly should be 0000)
- Select the serial port emulation and then choose com input port 7 or 8
- no need to establish a connection, it will be done automatically as soon as both the bluetooth on axim and on Holux are on.
- using TomTom, you have to configure the software as follows:
--> go to preferences
--> Show GPS Status (again dont know the exact english label)
--> select the bottom left softkey "Configure"
--> some available configuration will be presented, choose the more generic that on my localization sound as "other GPS Bluetooth receiver"
--> push the bottom softkey "Select"
--> Continue at the next warning screen
--> finally select COM7 or COM8 depending on the pairing you did.
Mind that TOMTOM6 automatically activates the Bluetooth interface upon program launch and shut it off at the program exit.
