It will change if you connect to a network that uses a proxy. do you use it at your work? maybe it is their proxy. it only has to be connected and sync'd to make it change so if you throw it on the cradle, bluetooth or a cable that is connected to a pc that uses a proxy and sync then it will set it back every time. you then have to go in and uncheck that box when you need to use it somewhere else. sort of a pain but no one has found a better way around it yet.
