I saw a comment about difficulty assign alt tab to hot key.
I found that by creating a system tray icon i was able to use alt tab.exe effectivly.

When you click the icon in the system tray your hand is already on the dpad and you are ready to navigate the running programs.

There is a utility called phm_traylnch_182.exe which lets you create your own tray icons. (attached)

additionaly using smartskey (attached) you can close the selected app when you arrive.

I am also about to download a util i found which simply closes all running tasks . I will create a tray icon for it and use that in combination with the rest.

This frees up a hot key for me and provides maxim usability.
