I've put something together to allow me to Listen Again to BBC RealAudio streams on my Axim (X51v, WM5 A12 ROM) out of sheer exasperation with the Beeb and Real for their lack of support for Pocket PCs.
The Beebotron provides the RealAudio streaming links to BBC audio programmes, and you'll need RealPlayer installed to listen.
If you use these links you will be able to listen to BBC programmes on a WM5 Pocket PC:
(a) that don't have 'play in standalone Real Player' (or words to that effect) on the BBC Radio Player site
(b) as an alternative to using the Beeb's 'play in standalone Real Player' link but without the .ram files being dumped on your PPC
The link is here:
The Beebotron
As you'll see from the site it's pretty embryonic, so any comments, criticisms, suggestions etc would be welcome.
Happy Christmas to all from Kronalias!
